The Astrophotography Blog
I started exploring astrophotography 20 years ago when much of modern automation and technologies were not invented, thanks to a dear friend (hello Fabio!) who taught me everything and guided me in evolving from a photographer to an astrophotographer.
20 years later, I live in the countryside of the UK, and I use most of the modern technologies to take pictures of the night sky with my homemade, fully automated system in my backyard. I’m often asked how to start astrophotography. With this blog, I hope to give back some of my knowledge and the story behind some of the pictures on this website. If you want to read about anything specific, don’t hesitate to contact me!
